Puppetpalooza!

Service Description

A puppet-making camp designed to give big belly laughs and giggly dance breaks. Kids are invited to bring their own puppets from home to work with in our custom puppet theater, along with making several different styles of original puppets that will take on a life of their own. ​We will work on storytelling with a character arc, dramatic songs and performances. The end of the week will culminate in a once-in-a-lifetime backyard puppet performance. Every camp at Catskills Rock grants kids a guided experience of our fully equipped music studio (guitar, bass, drums, keys, piano, ukuleles) as well as indoor and outdoor play spaces, hammocks, garden play, guided hikes at the nearby nature preserve, backyard water play and neighborhood bike-riding fun. We maintain a relaxed, fun space where kids can be themselves and enjoy time with friends, while making incredible art and music! A snack is provided. Kids will need backpacks with a water bottle, lunch, bathing suit and towel (for hot days), sunscreen and sun hat.
